Yarn: MillaMia Extrafine Merino Wool
Shade A: Putty, Shade B: Forget Me Not, Shade C: Storm. 2 x 50g balls of each (more if desired).
Hook: 5mm (UK), (USA)
Tapestry needle

Abbreviations
Ch = chain
Ch sp = chain space
Sl st = slip stitch
Sc = single crochet

Pattern

Using shade A.
Ch 4, join with the first ch to form a loop (use a magic loop).

Round 1: ch 1 (counts as first sc here and for all other rounds), work 1 sc, *ch 2 work 3sc. Repeat from * twice more. Ch 2, 1 sc. Join to the first st using sl st.

Round 2 and all other rounds: ch1, work 1 sc in the back loop of each st. In the corner ch sp, work 1 sc ch2 1 sc. When joining to the first st (at the end of each round) work through both loops.
Change shades at random intervals to create the colour effect of the blanket. With this method each blanket will be unique.
